Marco Aurélio works with Anti-corruption and Compliance since 2018. He has experience with Antitrust and Administrative Law, mainly with public tenders and concessions, administrative proceedings, leniency applications and settlement negotiations with CADE (Brazil’s antitrust authority). His practice includes conducting due diligences and internal investigations related to Brazilian local and foreign legislations, elaborating internal policies and codes of conduct, as well as legal counseling in administrative proceedings related to the Brazilian Clean Companies Act (Law No. 12,846). Marco Aurélio was an Applied Researcher on non-profit and exempt organizations area in a project conducted by Fundação Getulio Vargas Law School, GIFE, IPEA and the European Union (2017). He holds a Law Degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2019) and acts as assistant at Compliance Post-Graduate Program of Fundação Getulio Vargas (2020/2021).
