On April 15, 2025, the Office of the Comptroller General of Brazil (“CGU”) released the guidelines for the 2025-2026 edition of the Programa Empresa Pró-Ética, a government and private sector joint initiative that recognizes and promotes integrity in the Brazilian business environment.

One of the main updates in this edition is the expanded scope of the integrity programs to include social and environmental responsibility, as well as respect for human rights – in line with global trends in corporate governance.
